As someone who struggles to be productive unless sat at a desk, I realised that wanting to actually do productive things means I needed a desk.
So I bought one, I while ago actually and learnt that yes desks are great and I was writing a lot and getting creative but over time a problem became clear. A desk very easily becomes a dumping ground and I found myself guilty of throwing things on it until I could no longer find space for my laptop.
Every time I cleared it I vowed to keep it tidy but I'm not the best at sticking to my own word (for example I'm also rubbish at sticking to healthy eating and exercise). This time though I got it how I like it and I really will keep it this way, promise!
Spot on placement of the photos on my wall there.
As they say, "clear space, clear mind" and in my case having a desk with pretty things and lots of space does actually help me think.
It's a space full of bright colour and surrounded by memories and things that I love which is always great for inspiration and creativity.
As of course, no desk is complete without a small milk bottle full of fake sunflowers!
I hope that this has given you a little bit of inspiration if you're looking to get a desk or want to update your desk space. I'm hoping having pictures of a tidy desk on my blog will remind me to keep it that way! Below is a list of where you'll find some of the things in this post.
Have a lovely day!
