London day trip and mini Topshop haul.

Last week my mum came into my room and proposed the idea of going to London for the day the following weekend seeing as we'd all be off work. My friend Megan joined us yesterday and we headed to London.

First stop was Camden to to have a wander around the market, it's one of my favourite parts of the city but Megan had never been there before so it was fab to show her around and take it all in.

I found a really nice blue satchel for £20 which my mum kindly bought for me but it's being put away as a birthday present so I won't see it for another twenty days. My mum and her fiance also bought a really nice piece of photography to go somewhere in the house, they spent a while walking round holding it up to different walls to see where it would look good and still haven't decided, but it's really pretty and different and'll look great wherever to be honest.
While we were waiting for the loos, I was reading the graffiti on the walls and noticed that people had been writing their names and stuff so I did the same, because I'm a rebel and who doesn't want their name on the wall outside some toilets in Camden Market?
pretty pretty satchel

From Camden we headed to Piccadilly Circus to see how long the wait was at The Rainforest Cafe because we'd never eaten there before and wanted to make a proper day out of it. We managed to get a table and we had cocktails and nachos and then I had a steak sandwich which was a-mazing! Literally felt so full up after that we decided to walk to Oxford Street from there. Heading along Regent Street we lost my parents and Megan had her photo with a Stormtrooper and then we found my parents again and everything was fab. Apart from my feet hurting.

We had a little wander down Carnaby Street before going to Oxford Street and having a look in Pull & Bear, House of Fraser and Topshop! My faveeee! We had a good raid of the sale and I walked away with a new dress (which sadly doesn't fit and the zip was broken which I didn't realise at the time) and a big t-shirt that is perfect for lazy days!
Comfiest top ever.

I also wandered up to the make up and wasted money on yet more nail polish, lipstick and an eyebrow pencil. But I do absolutely love Topshop Nails and probably own a good ten seeing as I have to stop myself from buying a new colour every time I go in!

The nail polish is 'causing a stir' a fun, bright orange which looks great against tanned skin so perfect for summer! It takes a few coats for it to become as bold as it need to be but once it's on it looks fab. Definitely one of my favourites!

The lipstick is in 'Ditsy' and it a brilliant bright coral pink colour. I thought it was quite similar to a Rimmel lipstick that I already own but after comparing them it's definitely a brighter more summery shade and it doesn't feel like it leaves your lips feeling dry. It's the first Topshop lipstick I've bought and I've been wanting to try one of them for a while. 'Brighton Rock' really took my fancy, however seemed a little too pink for me but I may give it a go in the future.

Overall, it was a good day and I'm pleased with what I bought. Bit disappointed with Pull & Bear though, I can normally find loads in there but nothing jumped out at me this time round. Decided I need to go on a shopping weekend sometime soon because a day really isn't long enough and I still haven't explored Westfield so that needs to happen!

We vlogged throughout the day as well and that's currently being edited by Megan so should be up in the next week or so because we're lazy vloggers, byeee! :) x
